RAJUR : Shri Maha Ganapati Sansthan is situated at Rajur, 25 km north of Jalna in Maharashtra. The temple enshrines the swayambhu idol of Lord Ganesh. Rajur is regarded as one of the three and a half Ganesh Peethams in Ganesh Purana. Other peethams are at Morgaon and Chinchwad (Pune) and the remaining half peetham is at Padmalaya. The temple is believed to have been built by Yadavas. Other attraction beside Maha Ganapati temple is ancient Shri Vitthal Temple with sculptures, carved pillars & entrance gate. Stambha is worth seeing nearby temple.
AMBAD : Ambad is notable for its temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Matsyodari. In October of each year, devotees of the goddess gather in Ambad for the Hindu festival of Dashahara.
JAMB SAMARTH : Jamb Samarth, the place where the Sant Ramdas swami was born. This place is in Ghansavangi tahsil of Jalna district. Samarth Ramdas was born on Chaitra Shukla Navami Shake 1530 (as per hindu Calender) at 12 P.M., exactly on the time of Ram Janma (Lord Rama's birth. A largely attended annual fair helds at the Ram temple On Ram Navami. This Ram temple is situated in Sant Ramdas swami's home. The temple is managed by a trust which was registered in 1943 by Nanasaheb Dev. The trust comprises 55 members and 11 trusties. Now this trust has its own land of 240 hectares.
SINDKHED RAJA : SindkhedRaja is at epitome of medieval Indian history. Rajmata Rashtramata Jijau was born on 12 January 1598 at Sindkhed Raja. She helped develop Shivaji Maharaj, her son, to create Swaraj in the country. Thus, Sindhkhed Raja has got unique place in the history of India and Maharashtra. Maratha Seva Sangh's founder President Shri Purushottam Khedekar has envisioned to create a big project dedicated to Rajmata Jijau. This project is called 'Jijau Srushti'. The project is spread across 450 acres and its estimated cost is around Rs.11 thousand crores.
LONAR CRATER : Lonar Lake is a notified National Geo-heritage Monument saline soda lake located at Lonar in Buldhana district, Maharashtra, India, which was created by a meteor impact during the Pleistocene Epoch and it is the only known hyper velocity impact crater in basaltic rock anywhere on Earth.
GURU GANESH BHAVAN : The other famous place for the Jain religion in the jalna is the guru Ganesh bhavan. The Guru Ganesh Bhavan is a sacred place. The Guru Ganesh Bhavan is run by the Jain trust of the city called ‘Shri Vardhaman Sthankwasi Jain Shravak Sangh’ which is also in charge of many other institutions like school for blinds, Gaushala, other schools and library. The architecture of this place is the glorious thing to visit in the district.
